Rhyot ventures through a city 'In Ruin' in this imaginative thriller of a post-apocalyptic debut EP. The musical storytelling begins with a dive into nostalgic reflection as Rhyot and his small group of surviving Resistance members wander through a barren concrete jungle, echoing the now silent sounds of humankind. The second movement is set deep below the city surface, where the discouraged squad has entered a subterranean shelter in search of a vital object, only to find the interior areas ravaged and vacant, and the item missing. Bringing the journey to climax in the third segment, the group is forced to make an immediate escape through a labyrinth of dark unkept tunnels, chased closely behind by the cold, mechanical fate of certain death by machine.
